Is Affiliate Marketing Real?

Welcome Fellow Affiliate Marketers And Internet Entrepreneurs,

As with many of my posts, I build content for you and then I connect the plumbing. My Internet guides will be available shortly.

For now..., read on.

This blog is dedicated to folks who want to work from home but absolutely find legitimate ways of doing so. I created this blog to show you how to maintain your independence while working someone else's system.

When you're new, you may not have all of the skills in place you need to succeed. That's why we pull in what's called affiliate marketing. It is something network marketers and online entrpreneurs do to get our feet wet. It's something we usually do before getting into our own product creation. That part requires growth, systems, outsourced help, and genuine know-how.

Before I fully explain how affiliate marketing works, get your FREE Wealth Guide here. Be sure to fill in your name and e-mail on the right-hand side of this blog. Your content is safe, and it will NOT be shared with anyone!

My niche guides 2 and 3 are under construction so please stay tuned for future posts! If you'd like to check out my "Mad Marketing Course" for starters --

Sure...I'll give it a gander. Give Me My Mad Marketing Help NOW!

This Blog Attracts 3 Types of Marketers --

1) Those who have been studying Internet marketing for a brief time...

2) Those who don't have any Internet marketing exposure, but they want to know more before spending too much $$ with major gurus (something I don't recommend)...plus...

3) Those who have marketed products/services offline, but they now want to try their hands at something new online.

Overview of Marketing - What It Is and Is Not

Ok. Here's the situation. Legitimate business takes time. It is never an overnight deal. That's true if, for one, you accept the fact that anyone searching for your work online will be human...and two, people don't trust overnight. They want delivery on solid content before they'll open their wallets to you. If that's understood..., keep reading.

Affiliate Marketing Is

Matching Products/Services To Consumers

Who have a definite need for what you offer AFTER you've established a decent relationship (of some time involved) before you make the needed assessment and then offer the product/service. You have to put yourself out there..., show others what you know, become the one they can entirely trust, and then deliver. This part takes time so you should never be rushed into making a decision you're not ready to make.

What's Common Online

I teach Internet marketers everyday, and there's one commonality with many of them:

A) They think it will be a fast and furious business...
B) In reality, it will take time to build your business..
C) You want to keep that other job going..., and if you're unemployed, keep that income going for as long as the gov't will allow.
D) If you have a job and it's just not fun anymore, save your savings and retirement (if you have one left) for the biggest things you'll need..like a discounted long-distance phone # (you can get for unlimited minutes..Vonage is fine but run price comparisons online first)...and a domain name + some web hosting. That's about it.
E) Be conservative. Put your $$ where it will count most and research as many freebies as you can.
F) Internet business is an important endeavor...much like operating a business offline, you want to learn what's key (or not key) by running numbers on any affiliate you promote (you should have daily targets based on X #'s of people who contact you or you contact yourself + the market average for closing the deal based on the service/product you're moving, and add the # of units sold/day 5X's a week).
G) I will tell you -- to build skills that pay, you must be willing to invest in the proper Internet marketing education. Google is becoming more and more strict with entrepreneurs, and there's more involved online than there was even 5 years ago.

Start With The Right Education

Here's how you find who's right for you.

* They'll give you starter stuff you can really use now for free
* They will be patient and offer service through help desks, FAQ's, and direct support...
* You want to access CEO's directly
* If you get a bunch of flunkies, forget it
* You do NOT want to study from someone who's in his/her first week of Internet marketing, even if that person has advanced marketing under his/her belt. To qualify for Internet marketing coaching, people must at least spend a good year or two or three doing nothing but learning the in's and out's of Internet marketing.
* I've met some folks who claim to be advanced marketers "just because they earn a living offline" (so ask them if they make that living by pulling in Internet Marketing). If you get a "well...I make my living...not with Internet Marketing...cause I don't need to"...walk the other way. This is not the same thing as developing skills online designed to move products/services.
* Don't pay out multiple thousands for something you can get at a better value..
* Visit with people first...connect...ask questions on blogs and forums to see how well they answer you
* If the admin person on a hosted blog gets too fussy with you, drop 'em
* Associate with positive people who truly care
* Test marketers to see what they will and won't share -- the best ones will give you golden nuggets you can use today -- the worse runs pressure you to "act now" ...which is totally bogus and does nothing for you as a person...
* Some work from hidden agendas and when you ask them direct questions, if they ignore you, they aren't sharing something critical.

Very Successful People Invest In Themselves

I do support place that teaches that gives you what you need without the baloney but I'm not going to hit you over the head with a "buy this now" deal.

I want you to conduct your research and watch people. Find out who's who. Compare notes. Do what's best for you today.

If a deal is solid, it will be there tomorrow and the next day, and so on. The best people aren't going anywhere.

Future Posts

In this blog, I give you access to many different resources because no one person or place gives you entirely everything. I am the first one to admit this fact.

Online, you want flexibility and you want the ability to protect yourself at all times...whether we're talking about knowing what's legally involved in setting up a profitable business, finding out who you absolutely can trust, building a network that's powerful, and more.

Networks Are There

I have a network of talented marketers who teach Internet marketing, telemarketing, or a blend of both. I built this network to bring you the best people available online. It's taken me 4 years to identify who's who..., what they move.., how they operate, and how well they respond to others. They are successful but are dedicated to your success. You won't find them talking about Internet millions overnight.

The Internet Marketing I Share Focuses On End Results (Getting Paid)

Affiliate marketing is real and it can potentially generate decent income for people who learn what's involved in Internet marketing setup. They don't master it overnight. They do work for it.

Why Affiliate Marketing?

There are right ways to work this industry, and there are poor ways to do so.

The best ways are to build a solid following, deliver solid products they can use now..., and then build in affiliate marketing for a "pay as you go" outcome.

Businesses built entirely on affiliate marketing require many approaches. You can't put your eggs in one basket. You need 5 outlets designed to build something that will last.

If you submit your Q's, I reply to active participants. Those who sit and just watch do just that.

Why Consider Affiliate Marketing When You're New Online?

What's neat about affiliate marketing is that it's a great starting point. It doesn't lock you into any one thing or one line of products you see being marketed...say in MLM, for example (although MLM can work if it's done right).

You don't need to own anything online, but if you can move different products/services to people who want your "stuff", then you've got it. For best long term results, you will want to use the Laws of Attraction..., keep your messages focused and directed to the audiences who really need you, then offer sincerity when helping others. You do tell people...they get free stuff and they get exposure to paid stuff -- so there's no surprize.

I Encourage Marketers To Use Blended Marketing

If you are a former network marketer or if you've tried affiliate marketing and have had no results, it's most likely because you haven't implemented a system...or if you did, it's possible the system was incomplete. It's possible that you didn't give your efforts enough exposure, long enough for others to find you.

* You need to spend months of advertising..even if you use free means to do so

* Is do not push outdated marketing. I strive to bring you what's proven

* Everything is designed to be completely transparent (in it's information...source..price..performance)...

* If you're gong to market anything online, you might as well get your training down pat...

* You must be willing to interact with others to build your knowledge

* If you like the idea of pulling in buddies, use a buddy system to test everything you're doing online

Watch Out For $$-Only Gurus (Without Support)

We have a fair number of gurus online who target you specifically in an effort to tell you that it will cost $20K to get your new business setup. Please don't fall for this kind of information because it's not entirely true.

As a CEO of my own company and active publisher, I will tell you that you can start your business online working a simple budget.

In all of my blogs, you will read this same content -- no matter who the target audience is

* In a majority of cases, you do not need fancy (crazy expensive) software or detailed systems up front..., nor do you need to pay $5K for it

* Until you know how to attract the right kind of business attention, you can spend yourself out of business before you even get started

* You want time, effort and constructive buddy systems working for you

* Avoid joint ventures until you've had a chance to test people and information

* Take the time to build sensible networks delivering to you and you to them. Hint - I train some of the most integrity-bound people who are very good at what they do.

* In my team training, I screen people carefully for ethics and performance so if you like the ideas I'm presenting here, you could very well be in the right place at the right time...

Finally, I'll qualify further what I mean by this statement -- "If you have to spend any $$ on anything online, you want to put that $$ and effort into working your starter basics: the phone..., talking to people directly or through indirect means (like blogging and a website).., and master basic communications.

Right Business Attention

I've seen many marketers quit the game before they get started only because they failed to identify "a hungry audience who would pay for their services".

Even the best marketers must be careful not to assume they have mastered their audiences. As a prime marketer, you always ask people what they want most.

Then..., you find the right ways to attract the right attention -- i.e...finding only those who are interested in your product/service.

We want to rule out those who are not yet serious about a purchase from you, or rule out those just serfing the net. There are ways to do this and that's also what I teach so please stay tuned for my next post.

1) You will eventually need your own domain name ($7 - $15/year depending on where you go)...
2) Your own way of communicating with many #'s at once for about ($19.99/month)...
3) Long distance telephone (again...look for unlimited calling for about $30/month)...
4) Sincere willingness to learn and apply what you learn.

Protecting Your Interests Online

There are gurus who will help you get in touch with the feeling that says to you, "I just have to have this product/service". That marketer did his/her job, but what they may not have told you is:

1) It doesn't take anything fancy again to get started
2) The best marketers tell you like it is
3) They will tell you it's hard work as you invest your time...part-time or otherwise
4) Wrapping your hands around someone who knows what in the heck is really going on.

Here are some great people you can watch --

* Glenn Livingston, Ph.D. (he's so good...keep your wallet on ice)
* Mike Dillard (MLM/Affiliate)
* Travis Sego (great for starting your biz on a budget)
* Mark Joyner (get his freebie stuff called, "Simpleology")
* Ewin Chia (get his freebie's...but watch out for his closings...he's very persistent)
* Terry Duff (MLM/Affiliate - one of the best in the industry - you must be patient with Terry because he educates you "right out of the firehose" - get his freebies...and get low-cost stuff...if need be...
* Dan Kennedy (best copywriter)
* Yanik Silvers
* Ed Dale (get lots of freebies...)
* I'm here too (get freebies and more).

The numbers are growing on my blogs, but I'm publishing several so you can find what you need most.

That's the truth.

What Do I Really Need for Starters?

You don't have to own your own website, and that's ok.

You can get a FREE Blogger account here. You can safely use the default blogger settings to get started.

What Do I Write About?

If you're not sure who are you precisely targeting in your marketing, you can start 2 blogs...or even 3. Then start writing along 3 different niche lines. Eventually, you'll find that 1 niche that gets you most excited as you're sharing helpful content.

Then keep working that blog. You can use your real name or you can pull in an alias name...or use first name only.

I use my full name and my first name..., Barbara...the Non-Guru, Guru. That's what others call me.

Let's stop there. This is a lot to digest.

What Is Affiliate Marketing? How Does It Work?

Hello New Folks Online,

If you're wanting to earn $$ as a legitimate work from home opportunity, you can work from your own comfy couch.

You will need to bring a few things to the business table:

1) A willingness to succeed and learn new things
2) Apply what you learn
3) Keep asking me Q's because I am here to help you build a profitable business right from your comfy home.

U.S. Realities

Here's the tough part before I tell you what's obviously happening in our country.

Yes -- we have a huge number of people now coming online looking for work.

Yes -- we have a large number of people looking to guru's for that help.

Yes and No -- Some top gurus help others alter their lives for the better and some don't.

No -- You don't have to spend countless thousands building your business or paying for personal coaching.

Yes -- You can do this without building your own website.

Yes -- You can move into profit using affiliate marketing.

What Is Affiliate Marketing?

I'll show you this marketing applied next. Do do this, you eventually have to head over to Clickbank.

For now, I am showing you how to get started online for FREE using an independent blog.

Affiliate Marketing Matches Consumers to Producers (or Companies)For Pay

Step 1) I am using an affiliate marketer I know who is doing pretty well with this campaign. I know because I put his website into Alexa and I then pasted the URL into a website calculator.

Step 2) You want to do the same thing anytime you pull in someone else's affiliate marketing program.

Stay tuned for more content. On this blog and on others, I put the real tools in your hands to "get you going", without the bluff or fluff.

The key to building a successful business online is to always do what you promise, deliver the quality goods, never take shortcuts, and honor payouts. If you like these ideas, I put you in the driver's seat...so please stay tuned!

Step 3) First -- I get my affiliate link from the program I've evalutated. This marketer has a site worth $80,000 and he has 72 affiliates. Most of them are succeeding with the exception of only a few who don't have the support.

HINT: Stick with me and I'll bring you everything you'll require for online marketing success. I bring the tools, the network, the traffic, listing building secrets, and far, far more!

Step 4) Now I my important link to show you what I'm saying about not having to own a website yet.

Click Below:

http://scrnch.me/qmncc

FTC Ruling -- If you buy this program from me, I do receive a partial commission, but that's how affiliate marketing works without a website.

http://scrnch.me/qmncc

Step 5) SEO Lies Applied

This program addresses baloney we're taught to make our websites and campaigns search engine friendly. Basically, we do this so that Google and consumers can easily find us, but we don't always get the absolute truth behind everything.

My promise to you is to never do that.

Step 6) Add a banner (image).

I will put the book over on the right-hand side of this blog.

Step 7) Deliver the message to people.

Some will click on the links and some won't. That's okay. At any point in online business, we present offers to people when they are facing a problem. Then we zero in on that problem and offer a link "at just the right time". If the timing is not yet right, that's ok. We teach you how to build your contacts so that you can repeatedly visit with them at a later time. Is that slick or what? You bet!

Monetizing Your Blog, 5 Ways To Ensure Your Blog Makes Money

Welcome Fellow Affiliate Marketers,

If you're working your home-based business and you're either in network marketing and/or you'd like to know more about affiliate marketing and how iit works, this wealthy affiliate blog is aimed at bringing you the most effective, up-to-date Internet marketing help.

Today's post addresses the common mistakes most marketers online make, but before I do that, please feel free to opt-into my powerhouse newsletter for affiliate marketers. Submit your name and e-mail to get your FREE whitepaper titled, "FREE Internet Wealth Guide, Work At Home".

5 Ways To Ensure Your Blog Makes Money

Ok. Here's what took me forever to figure out. Intentions are not to be harsh but to simply cut to the chase.

Dull Content

I'll apologize in advance. What I'm really saying is that when we're all new, we tend to post to our blogs just "for the sake of blogging", but that's not what puts food on the table. Whenever we do anything, it should be with the final goal to monetize what you know and share, provided it gives people what they need.

I'll tell you what finally dawned on me. Focus on the problems people inside of your market are striving to solve. Then..., write e-books.

Write About A System

Eventually, you're after some kind of system you can publish where several of your e-books work in tandem (together). When you satisfy one need, you'll know ahead-of-time what the other needs are. So, it's important that I recommend you study your niche. It takes time but when you know what people need and will pay for, half your game plan is covered.

Now, if you're like most of us and you want to reap solid benefits from any content you read elsewhere, chances are that others will expect the same benefits from your content.

* Strive for quality as often as possible

* Offer major value

* Bolster credibility by posting high quality content people can use to solve a problem today

* Strive for unique content every time you post

* Find out what helps your subscribers most

* Wait for the highest quality product launches that will repeatedly
stand the test of time...., but then and only then..., offer your affiliate link.

* For network marketers who aren't familiar with affiliate marketing, I will tell you. It's something your top dogs do. They find products/services that are already online, and they market those things to people IN ADDITION to marketing their MLM's. Affiliate marketing is front end commissioned pay supporting a back end goal.

When you do this, you program your readers to expect the best when it suits them. Try not to offer an affiliate link every time you form a post.

Boost Blog Design

Your Blog's Design Quality May Be Lacking.

Here's what I do:

* Look at some else's blog

* Compare your blog to the other blog source

If your blog design is poor, you can see your results. That's ok. Consider making the changes I'm offering here. I only share the marketing activities I do myself.

Your blog design determines whether or not you make money because -- let's assume --

1) Your traffic is mainly coming from Google, backlinks, or commenting,

* It takes 1/2 second for someone to decide whether or not they'll stay or leave once they've seen your blog

When people look at your blog site, you want a professional design in place so that people don't feel as if they've wasted their time.

* It's not necessary to spend money on a blog design

BUT...,

* You'll get a much better design if you spend some money...

You Can Do This By Outsourcing And/Or...

* Locating affiliate logos on various products/services you'd like to market

* You can often get these links for FREE

* If you're on a budget, run a Google search for "Free wordpress themes".

Your Logo Matters

Your business logo matters so this is where you may wish to consider hiring a pro. If it's not in your present plans, that's okay -- work with what you have.

You can have someone design your logo for you at a later date. Just bookmark my blog and this post will be here for you!

If you're new to affiliate marketing, make certain that your affiliate can provide you with professional logos.

Giving Your Blog A Chance To Make Money

Incorporate Footer Ads

* These are one of the best ways to make the most out of every blog post you write

* If you're not using footer advertisements (ads located at the bottom of your blog), you're not giving yourself the best chance to make as much money as you could be making

A footer advertisement gives every post you write a shot at making you some money.

Pull in advertising $$ to support your blog:

* Advertisespace.com
* BuySellAds.com

You can get started with one of these companies for free, and you can get people to pay you for advertising space on your blog.

You can make $$ from your blog with the assumption that you already have a solid traffic ranking.

If you don't yet have a solid traffic ranking, you can write articles and submit them to ezine articles. It takes consistent publishing, but 10 solid articles can generate hundreds of potential inquiries viewing your site.

Create an Ebook or an Ecourse.

* Creating an Ebook or an Ecourse is one of the best ways to make money from your blog

This gives you a chance to build credibility by giving your subscribers valuable information they can use now.

* Once others know that you're a credible source, you'll get the chance to recommend one or more of your affiliate links to them, plus you'll add more people to your mailing list.

"100,000 Google Accounts Shut Down!"

Welcome Fellow Internet Marketers,

This post is long.  I'll apologize in advance.  On critical topics such as why Google does what it does, you want a complete marketing picture in an effort to spare yourself these mistakes.  Please note: on all of my marketing blogs, my goal is to do 1 thing.  Give you content you can use to make a solid business purchasing decision.

Top Rule For Solid Marketing

My top rule for solid marketing with all of my marketers is to only share the methods I directly use.

Check out the resource here if you like:

http://tinyurl.com/2dthu69

"Google Had 100,000 Marketers Shut Down"

I cover what marketers did... and I tell you why these marketers were stumped.   The goal is to show you what NOT to do.

HINT: If you're not doing a thorough job of really looking out for consumers' best interests... and you've gotten too focused on bottom line $$.

To Avoid The Google Sting
To avoid the Google Sting, I pull in differences between white hat and black hat marketing because it's what altered the way Google works now.   I've talked about how these styles of marketing differ
in prior posts on my home-based business blog.  You can find that blog listed below my signature for further reading.

White Hat and Black Hat Marketing Conduct (Ethical VS. Unethical Practice)

White Hat -- is what it says.   We hope that it's pure marketing. It involves giving major search engines what they want.  It means giving people 3 things: 1) relevancy by search, 2) content people can use so that they can make solid buying decisions, and 3) a happy shopping experience that is valuable.  So it's about getting your biggest bang for your buck.

Black Hat - Is what it says.  I call it shortcut marketing and it doesn't consider anyone else involved online.  It's brutal.  It means cloning websites, stealing content without permission, taking other's commissions, lying, and more.  You get the idea.

In an effort to position yourself for very profitable business, you should not resort to this form of marketing. I tell you why below:

1) These folks will say that you don't need a website so here's the full story by looking at this issue from a true and false perspective.

TRUE: From the perspective -- if you're new and don't yet really understand online marketing, you can use an affiliate website that promotes someone else's product/service.  That's a starting point. It's not where you want to permanently live.

FALSE: From the perspective -- if you're going to be in this business profitably for the long run, you must eventually obtain and operate your own website.

Here's why website ownership is more true than false.

Consider e-business.  Think about how it should work if we're all in need of solid, repeat business.  Doesn't it mean giving people what they want without exceptions?  Doesn't it mean always finding better ways to deliver quality asap?  Then you already know what's involved:

1) Those who say they have Mastered Google Adwords will tell you otherwise. They'll try to lead you down some thorny path by stating, "you can make heaps of monthly revenue with this source alone".

The white hat marketers tell you..., "You should know what's involved before you take this plunge...you should have many business alternatives..., and you should have multiple marketing plans just in case one plan unexpectedly heads South."

What black hat marketers don't tell you is -- Google saw this trend for what it was -- lots of money-making without satisfying real consumer needs.  Some call this grey marketing.  It can fall somewhere in-between white and black marketing.  To me, it's just poor business that can never be rationalized.  In the end, you're shooting yourself in the foot.

2) Those who think or tout that you can achieve major success by tricking the search engines may not be fully aware of the dangers involved..., or they're simply thumbing their noses at any authority.

I run into this latter mindset all the time and it's frustrating.

Don't fall for this marketing at all. It will only lead to heavy fines and a closed business.

NOTE: Those who support black hat marketing are interested in moving a product supporting a win-lose model.  I call it a zero-sum model where you pay but they win at your expense. NICE.

Learn the accurate way:

http://tinyurl.com/2dthu69

Why is "tricking Google" a bad idea?

If you're new -- these are mere marketing gimmicks designed to move a product or service not necessarily serving you.

In all things, whenever you have a question regarding a purchase, you should be able to get all of the facts right away without "silence", "partial information", or "the truth distorted".

Enter Internet Commerce

In early days of Internet commerce, we had plenty of poor marketing going unnoticed.  People were making gobs of money by tossing up some banner ad, offering something totally unrelated on the back end..., and yes...consumers were not happy.  That's irrelevant search and seizure of your hard-earned moolah.

Now... with Google being the top search engine, it wants 3 things:

1) Give consumers an easy search and trustworthy shopping experience (based on the things they really want), and 2) get relevant content offered at a decent price offering unbelieveable value.

In the past 8 years, the Internet has evolved even further. It's far from perfect, and while Google doesn't possess every answer in the Universe, they want to make sure consumers get their value in timely ways.

Add FTC 2010 Regulations

The earth-shattering news under FTC rulings for 2010 basically stated that on any website, you had to have privacy policies listed.

* You had to tell people how their information was being used

* Network marketers had to disclose annual earnings to an inquiring public (amongst those who might consider MLM entry)

* Those who would pull in affiliate marketing online had to do these things -- 1) tell people "if you click on this link, I get paid a commission", ) in all of their e-mails, consumers needed to have a clear ability to opt-out (ask for no further e-mails please) at any time they chose to leave.

You've probably had those experiences where you couldn't get out of "Hotel California" for any reason, and if you're like me, I strongly dislike being a member at any website telling me that I can't leave for whatever reason.

What the FTC Did

This was a needed change.  First, the FTC shook up network and affiliate marketing (industries) by challenging marketers to "knock off lying".  They were doing this by using testimonials people had not knowingly offered permission for use..., and worse, they were cutting/pasting random testimonials they hadn't directly generated themselves (by obtaining permission from consumers they had worked with inside of a campaign (moving products/services).

Results of Black Hat Marketing (With White Hats Tossed In)

1) It booted many unethical companies out the door
2) It got some to shift their business models in what one might hope as being more ethical
3) It forced large numbers of merchants out of business.

So here's the interesting part. I bet you're someone who's very amazing.  Here's why.  It's not a coincidence that you're here reading this message. I'll bet you belong in the best of inner marketing circles otherwise you wouldn't be reading this post. Pat yourself on the back.  Better times for you are coming!

Well now you do. There are more of us who want to do the right thing.

And..., for those of us in white-hat marketing had a tough go of things appearing unequal. We clapped our hands because we were offering what the consuming public and Google wanted (relevant content + a website that was direct and transparent + prices on products/services people hugely valued). Even then, some of us were still getting slapped.

What was the major problem with a lot of "low quality marketing"?

Guru's were taking people's money for very little in return.  They were doing it at network marketing levels, and they were doing it at affiliate levels.

Here's a Universal rule worth remembering and I talk about the Golden rule in all of my blogs (see also http://bb-home-based-business.blogspot.com).

In all things, whatever you put out there for better or for worse, it will all come back to you in it's exactly form.

NOTE: Some online marketers went as far as marketing "data entry", "acai berry", "get paid for google ads", and more.

There is a major shift underway in many Internet realms of business.

Shifting Rule #1: You can't have unethical intentions

If you recall, I mentioned that 100,000 affiliates were booted out the door. This major "baseball bat of a Google slap" included major network marketers and affiliate marketers.

"100,000 GOOGLE ACCOUNTS HAVE BEEN SHUT DOWN!", (Kyle & Carson, Wealthy Affiliate).

Sure, this fact has angered a lot of people..., but no one ever was a real victim when they touted that anyone should circumvent Google. This search engine has seen every trick in the book.

There are some who say, "Don't play in the Google pond". That is true if you're not ready for this search engine. Alternative idea -- start elsewhere. You have Yahoo (Bing) and MSN.

The Deal With Google Adwords

Now..., the deal with Google Adwords (just putting ads up at Google) meant many were becoming very successful with Google Adwords while they were marketing plenty of tricks. Consumers could see this reality for what it was -- veil thin rubbish but not until they had spent their last dollar.

Did these marketers focus on really helping people? You could say "yes" and "no". In all things, business should be about pure intentions.., but the golden road called success was rarely ever paved with pure intentions. No more. "Google saw this trend as market shares dwindled", (Kyle & Carson, Wealthy Affiliate) .

"Why should Google let you promote your "promo" site alongside their natural search results high in quality?", (Kyle & Carson, Wealthy Affiliate). What this means to new folks is that Google happens is talked about more often than Yahoo or MSN because many marketers know that Google attracts the heaviest traffic (inquiries potentially leading to purchasing). A lot of advertisers were losing through Google core business.

You may or may not be in this boat. Many ethical marketers were hit hard.

Enter Wealthy Affiliate

I'll talk about Wealthy Affiliate University, the world's largest interactive forum and Internet marketing learn realm.

Whether seasoned or new, the site owners in this place did NOT get slapped by Google because they knew that relevance (meaningful content people could relate to and identify with) was key.

Marketers online talk in terms of "conversions" (where people opt-into (get) something you give them in exchange for following your newsletter). But...,"for 7 years, being relevant was enough to master Google Adwords and now things have changed", (Kyle & Carson, Wealthy Affiliate).

Website Or Not?

Case in point for having a website of your own -- people who don't have websites are fighting a losing battle because it means that there is:

* No more Google Adwords for you
* No more article marketing

Promotion of the idea that you should have your own website will always be emphasized.  This was true in 2002.  It was true in 2007. It will be true today in 2010, and beyond.

I'll tell you more about Wealthy Affiliate --

* There's a 3-click WordPress site builder
* There are 1,000's of sites already at Google getting traffic built by using this simple, new system
* It reduces the intensive learning curve by a good 2 years
* It saves you major money, major frustration, and lost moolah.

Shifting Rule #2: You must have a website now to succeed. I have been using WordPress Express since July 1, 2010, and I will suggest the same for you. I've tried other variations at WordPress but none come close.

But.., that is not all you need for your online marketing. Nowadays, you need a website that is ethical and relevant.

Shifting Rule #3: You must offer VALUE in addition to relevance.

This seems simple, but I can't tell you how many business people offline or online miss this boat. Therefore, we need the major search engines to spell it out. This fact won't change.

I mentioned that we had a lot of marketers making money with Google Adwords while they were not offering solid consumer value. This was the final event that broke the camel's back.

There have been ripples moving through article directories (places where marketers submit content for search engine ranking). There have been ripples affecting the other search engines, including numerous advertising platforms.

If being relevant is one thing, then being relevant while offering true VALUE is where the Internet is headed. That's why I'm writing this article.

If you're new, you'll stumble across this crazy idea that you only need a single squeeze page, single page affiliate promos, direct links, and plugs of your own pages offering keyword rich content in this effort to fool Google (by thinking that your site is great enough to satisfy their Quality Score rating system (QS)).

New or seasoned, you must center your marketing campaigns around value..., focus on what your visitors want, look for and help them get the true help they need...even if it means referring them to your competitors!

When you do this, you will become known as the "go to" person so you won't necessarily lose business. Those who are meant to be with you will stay. Those who are not will leave.

As an active publisher at Wealthy Affiliate, rather than offering my visitors sales page after sales page, I write Internet marketing tutorials.

Good News

The good news is that there's plenty of help at this place. If you're willing to ask and interact with others, you can speed up your learning, shorten the learning curve, and accelerate your success in ultimate ways you'd not anticipate as you overcome existing obstacles.

I show you how to avoid any new changes that the search engines and other external parties put in place should your website falls short. It happens to many of us until we learn what's really needed.

HINT: If you focus on complete, rich content...and you do this  often, and then place "contact us", "privacy policy", "home", and "about us" areas on your website, you'll have less trouble.  You will need to carry those phrases over to all other related pages.  Specific keywords from one page to another must appear on each individual website page even though content varies from page-to-page.

Others in this realm of Internet marketing education offer training on how to succeed with Google Adwords. Many there have already learned what Google likes and doesn't like these days, and they are actively teaching this information to all members.

About WordPress Site Builder

It is an express form of WordPress. You have more leverage than a typical WordPress.com (where you can't add plug-in's without offering your credit card everytime you want one). With this site builder, you'll have everything at your fingertips. It is self-hosted..., meaning that you need your own domain name. More along those lines soon follow so stay tuned!

You have the ability to build UNLIMITED sites..., and if you're a new online marketer, you can build these sites in less than one minute using this revolutionary technology.

These WordPress sites are highly sought after. Google loves them, and the other search engines pick up on these sites readily.

Personal Support

I and others here offer you 100%, 1-on-1 support. You must take advantage of it by asking questions persistently. If you get stuck, many of us will be there to directly and "personally" answer your question or concerns.

We will give you timely advice. That's a heck of a lot more than I ever got when I first started 4 years ago. You don't have to "sit in the dark" wondering what some guru sold you, and you don't have to worry about getting the support you need to implement when you bought the golden promise that didn't deliver results.

All questions are answered in a variety of ways:

1) Through an active forum of 10,000 members
2) Through help aids I've mentioned before -- tutorials, videos, and more
3) Through help that is published daily to give you what you need asap.

Greater News

It gets better. You can get started right away. If you join now, many of us already there can help you get a website up and running by the weekend!
